Trouble downloading?
Program installed, but will not launch?


If you are having difficulty downloading a file from our website, then the following information may be helpful.

If you've had trouble downloading the Demo, try installing Download Wonder. It's a free utility that can resume a download that was interrupted during an earlier session.

The most frequent errors our clients encounter are: "request timed out" and "connection reset by peer." These errors are actually caused by your local Internet Service Provider (ISP) and not Legacy Press. In most cases, you should contact your ISP's technical support for help. Or, try Download Wonder.

Some ISPs (particularly AOL) limit the amount of information that you can download at any one time. Our files are usually under the maximum size; but, in some cases, you may have to contact your ISP for a workaround.


If you installed the software to a drive or folder other than the default, then you must modify the ADS.INI file. This is described in the Download Instructions. 

Alternatively, it is probably easier to uninstall the program, and install it again using the default settings.
