Every
year you send a graduating class of physicians out into the real
world. Prospective employers are more sophisticated, and more
demanding than ever before. They want a new doctor to walk into a job
and immediately become productive.
How
can your young doctors compete if they have zero experience with
professional practice management software? How can they compete if
they have never used a computer to generate an insurance claim, or
schedule a patient for an appointment, or even checked that the books
are balanced at the end of a workday?
Not
providing your graduates with hands-on experience with medical office
software (especially Electronic Medical Records) is like teaching them
word processing using ONLY a textbook. Remember, those with knowledge,
win.
In
the past, there have been two major objections to providing students
with this experience. First of all, there's the cost. Practice
management software is expensive and nobody is giving it away free.
The
second problem is choosing which software to use. Is there enough time
to teach all of the many practice management software systems that are
currently on the market? If not, can one software package demonstrate
all the practice management problems your students will face after
graduation?
We
have good news for you: Software that is simple to use, comprehensive,
and reliable. Software that runs with Windows XP/2000 and is HIPAA
compliant. Best of all, software that can cost as little as a
textbook. This revolutionary program is call Practice Today (Student
Edition), developed by Legacy Press. Our Student Edition is exactly
the same as our Professional Edition. The only difference is that you
can only enter 4,000 patients.... a ceiling that will afford the new doctor significant room for growth for
many years to come.
For
a reasonable flat fee, we will provide an entire class of your
students with Practice Today (Student). Each student will have his or
her own copy to carry from school into the real world. A modest logo
or ad for your school can appear on the computer screen every time the
software is used. You can even sell this ad space to defray your
costs.
You
need not worry about your new doctors being satisfied with the
software. Practice Today is truly cutting edge. It is the culmination
of everything we have learned about computerized practice management
in the last nineteen years. It does almost everything a doctor could
wish for, except make the coffee.
Here
are the steps you can take to give your students the software
experience they need.
First,
click on Downloads and take
a look at Practice Today (Pro) for yourself. Ask us questions. See for
yourself that Practice Today can do everything your students might
ever need to practice better, safer medicine.
Second,
give your students a real working tool by visiting our Purchase
page. Remember to tell us how many units you need for your graduating
class, residents and interns.
Third,
schedule your designated
instructor to attend one of our two-day training sessions held in Los Angeles, CA. The training session will teach
everything needed to successfully incorporate Practice Today into your
curriculum. The cost of the training session is FREE; however,
you will be responsible for your own travel, lodging, and most meals.
This
is the bottom line: for less than the cost of a textbook, your
graduates can have the software and the skill they need to manage any
health care practice. Do not send your graduating class out the door
with simply a diploma.
Sincerely,
Lauretta Carroll
