We are pleased to announce the start of our "Web-based Perpetual Use" program for Practice Today (Pro). Our program is very simple. It is designed for doctors who would like to computerize their practice, but are  frightened by the initial cost of a quality system. It is designed for office managers who would like to computerize their practice, but are frightened by the idea of mentioning the initial cost to the doctor. 

Practice Today (Pro) is quality without compromise, at a cost you can afford.

What is the "Web-based Perpetual Use" program? 

Simply put, we host your data on our co-located servers. You and your staff can access your data from anywhere on planet Earth using an Internet connection. You pay a small monthly fee for this service. You do not have to sign a contract. Nor do you have to sign-up for a fixed time period. It is basically a month-to-month agreement. 

Do I own the Practice Today (Pro) software? 

No. You do NOT own the software. You cannot trade it, sell it, share it, copyright it, or patent it. (And yes, we have had a client try to patent our software, to no avail). 

Do I own my data?

YES. You own your data. We do not, and never will, make any claim or demand on your data. It sits on our co-located server in a HIPAA compliant secure facility. When you want to download it, it's yours. In fact, we provide zipped backups of all of your practice data for you to download daily. This will serve as your "Plan B" should your Internet connection ever go down. 

What about backups?

Fully functional daily backups can be transferred to your computer.   

Am I ever "locked-out" of my system? 

No. Never. Absolutely, positively, NEVER.

What happens if I decide to discontinue payments?

The software will not allow you to enter NEW data. You can continue to use the program client-side. You have complete access to all existing data.

How do I make payments?

Payments are made on an annual basis. Annual payments can be automatically billed, or you can visit the Practice Today website to make your payment. 

How do I cancel my service, if I want to?

Simple. Login to your PayPal account and click on the "Active" link in the Status column for subscriptions. Press Cancel. That's it.

What about training?

All new users to our "Web-based Perpetual Use" program must take our Introductory Seminar, or have our permission to opt-out. There is a small fee for training, but this fee can be waived for students, interns, and residents.

What about updates?

Your monthly fee gives you access to two annual Practice Today (Pro) updates. There is no additional fee.

What about data storage capacity?

Your monthly fee entitles you 1GB of storage capacity. Additional space can be purchased if necessary.

What about software support?

Your monthly fee entitles you to "reasonable" software support. Although we have never been required to do so, we reserve the right to limit the number of your monthly calls if they become excessive. Our Introductory Seminar will address most of your questions, software support will take care of the rest.

Can I bring my data in-house at a later date?

Absolutely. Simply purchase the Practice Today (Pro) software, and we will help you transfer your data.

What about multi-user configurations?

Practice Today (Pro) is multi-user. You must decide how many users you would like to have access at any one time. There is a one-time setup charge for each connection.

Your monthly fee allows you to have three concurrent users logged on at any one time. 

Will my monthly fee ever increase?

No. Your initial fee will be perpetual UNLESS you allow your service to lapse. If it does lapse, you must sign up anew at the current monthly rate.

What is the monthly fee?

$180 per month, with an initial set-up fee of $250 per connection.
